Friday afternoon walk in St. PaulPosted: August 15, 2011
A blog post is a great excuse to share random iPhone camera observations made on a short Friday afternoon walk. The ramble started at the top of Ramsey Hill, continued through the sides streets of Ramsey Hill, Crocus Hill, Lex-Hamm, then on a detour through the St. Thomas More Farmer’s Market, and return via Summit Avenue, viewing the controversial gardens in front of the House of Hope Presbyterian Church.
Most of the images speak for themselves. Sidewalks poems and chainsaw tree sculptures punctuated the walk. And the encounter of a “pay if forward” library box on Portland Avenue in front of a frequently admired English style cottage, necessitated some contemplation and joy.
